Delivering sustainable solutions for lasting social impact.
Christopher & Catherine Charity Foundation (C&C Charity Foundation) is a duly registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Nigeria, incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a non-profit and non-political organization.
The Foundation operates nationwide with a strong commitment to social justice, child protection, and sustainable development.
C&C Charity Foundation was established in response to increasing challenges faced by children and marginalized groups in Nigeria, including poverty, limited access to education, child labour, abuse, neglect, health inequalities, and social exclusion. The Foundation exists to bridge these gaps through community-driven solutions, advocacy, and empowerment initiatives that promote dignity, inclusion, and self-reliance.
I am Ike Uzodinma, from Anambra State, Nigeria. I was raised with strong values of humility, responsibility, and compassion—values deeply shaped by my grandmother and reinforced by my grandfather, a community-focused leader who established a kindergarten and elementary school in our village to expand access to education.
Although these schools were later taken over by the government, inadequate investment left them unable to meet the needs of the community. That experience left a lasting impression on me.
After completing secondary school, I was admitted to study Pharmacy in the United States. My intention was always to return home and contribute meaningfully to my community. However, during my final year of study, I lost my father. As the eldest child, I remained in the U.S. at my mother’s request to support my family.
Years later, upon returning home, I was deeply affected by the deteriorating condition of vital community institutions—the maternity facility where I was born, my grandfather’s school, and our local church. These pillars of community life were in urgent need of support.
When my siblings and I asked our mother what she desired most for her 80th birthday, her response was simple yet profound: something that would outlive her.
In honor of my parents, Christopher and Catherine, the Christopher & Catherine Charity Foundation was established to promote education, healthcare access, faith-based initiatives, and sustainable community development—creating lasting, measurable impact for generations to come.
We envision communities with equitable access to quality education, essential healthcare, and strong institutions that empower families to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
C&C Charity Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for strategic direction and policy oversight. Daily operations are managed by an Executive Director, supported by program officers, field staff, volunteers, and administrative personnel.
